hi fellas, it appears that SB wants WH to make a deal, for BROZOVIC from Inter, Excellent mdf, all, the big clubs are interested in him, Didn't think at this stage, a move like this would even be considered, BUT credit to us IF we have a go at this, he's the type of player it would be nice to have in our shirt, IRONMIKE.

Sounds great if they can pull it off but still don't understand why we aren't all out for a RB and CB. We won't win games without a solid defence, and right now we don't have that.
I think the doom and gloom about performances to date are over the top however. Players take time to find their feet in the premiership and time for players to gel. Damn I remember how average Henry was when Arsenal first got him, some fans need to get behind the team and not moan so early in the season.

WISH I could give you direct answer. WH are chasing chambers, so are many others, and Remy both loan, the latter with option, I can only tell you as of this moment NO bids are in for payet. SO if WH are doing something NO ONE in the office knows anything about it. BUT then nobody knew anything about Fernandez either. THE ONE THING that tells me more than anything is movement IF for instance payet was going, WH would recieve a large amount of money, WH need A RB a striker and at least one creative midfielder added to Lanzini, they would be buying in advance if payets leaving IF for example BROZOVIC came in I would be getting suspicious, That's the way I look at it, IRONMIKE.

Whilst I don't necessarily think that Payet is going to leave, there have read a few things on this site, amongst others has made me doubt whether or not he will stay this summer.

1. He has a supposed knock which has prevented him from making any form of appearance since he returned to West Ham from his holiday. The club hasn't really told us anything about it, or when he could return

2. Since his agent publicly said that reports quoting Payet as saying "I am 100% staying" are false, we've heard nothing from either of them

3. We've gone from having no money left for transfers. To suddenly looking to sign a couple of players and none of the players we are looking at are cheap options. Zaza is expected to cost in excess of £20 million, and we are still looking to add further players to the squad

4. The similarities between this Summer with Payet and the Summer Bale moved to Madrid are uncanny. It could just be a coincidence, but at the same time, it could just as likely be that the clock is ticking for Payet' time at West Ham

And when you consider that Real Madrid have been given a transfer ban (which they've appealed against, giving them this summer to make transfers and prepare) approaching. They've only really signed one player this window, Morata. They have sold a few fringe players in Jese and Cherychev but this isn't the type of transfer dealings I've come to expect from Madrid and they do typically sign players on deadline day.

Personally, if Payet wants to leave then I'd rather the club said that it's a possibility that he might leave. But then again, the fact they've been saying he will stay "unless a ridiculous amount of money is offered" hasn't exactly ruled out the possibility of him being sold.

I know Payet was EASILY our best player last season, but if he wants to leave then I'd rather sell him and bring in some others to replace him. Zaza is a start, but if he does go we need to replace Payets creativity and sure up our defence.

Just a couple of points, Payet has played since his holiday. He came on against Juventus. Also I have read on here that its staggered payments for Zaza about £& million each year I think it was.
