Arsenal wrapped up in their own importance it seems owing to the possibility of Saliba's long-term absence. They want to buy Mavrapanos on the cheap. Or loan him, for a reasonable fee!!!!

WH said no to a loan immediately. Can’t stop them making a bid, nothing as yet. They mentioned a loan coming our way in return, but WH don’t seem to be interested

Man United ask a fixed price for Diouf yesterday; WH reply £30 m (25 m would be acceptable).

No response as yet

Premier clubs want everyone on the cheap; WH are having none of it, following Fernandes sale, plus parachute money, and the likelihood of Summerville exit shortly. Pressure is off

Let’s get in the few players we need and get on with it

It's about time we stopped being the Premiership's wholesalers. That also goes for a number of European clubs. At last, we appear to be setting reasonable prices on our players, and sticking to them. No longer the transfer pushovers.
