What an amazing signing Koloplyanka would be and the best thing about all our business so far is that the players have got their best years ahead of them.

Just a solid right back and a couple of loan signings maybe Moses and one more striker to add depth and it would be a better window than I could of imagined.

I think what we are seeing here is what the two David's and sam have wanted to do from the start. Yes the fans have moaned about the way we have played, but I do think the plan was to stay in the premier league for a few seasons and then push on. Further to this point I think big sam has done a great job in getting results, now that he has been given a bit of cash to splash I think our style of football will really improve. So far this transfer window we really have pushed on and started to sign some younger players with the hope of blooding them in with the older players in our squad. A lot of you may not like big sam but he really is doing a great job and getting us some very talented and promising players. Starting to believe we can really push teams next year! Let's hope we can get a few more players in, I for one would like to see the experience of Micah Richards in our squad

Fella's, more encouraging news is the we bid £9.5m for Koloplyanka but DNIPRO are willing to let him leave if we meet the valuation £12m.

I just wonder how is AC going to keep up with Zarate and Koloplyanka.

Diarra and Maiga are apparently on the way back to France with Lille and Socheaux interested, apparently!

Reckon we still need a RB (micah richards would be great). I still feel we are missing that poacher a la Cottee

The worry about Richards is his injury record. Leeds right back Sam Byram would be a good addition, although whether there's enough money in left the pot may be an issue?

If I should chose between Konoplyanka and E. Valencia for 12. mil. I will alway get Konoplyanka, he has qualities for top class clubs now and will be better.
About Richards, few years ago, I´ll be happy if we get him, but now, there is big question how long he will stay without injury and he don´t play football for how long? 2 years? in this I agree with rustyhammer, try Byram, Leeds is down, players don´t look happy with new owner.

Speaking of money left in the pot. I read this morning we are front runners for Enner Valencia?

The Hammers have already brought in four players just nine days into the summer transfer window, and Big Sam is looking to swoop in for another highly sought-after player.

According to ssn, the Hammers are ‘leading the race’ to sign Ecuadorian striker Enner Valencia. The likes of Porto, Everton, Newcastle, Stoke and Tottenham have all been linked with a move for the 25-year old, who was the star man for Ecuador during their World Cup, scoring all three of their goals in Brazil.

The player currently plies his trade in Mexico with Pachuca, where he scored 18 goals in 23 appearances this past term. The Daily Star reported that the Irons had made a £12m bid for the forward following his World Cup heroics, and in addition to this, Pachuca’s vice-president, Andres Fassi, confirms he has received offers for the striker.

I would love us to sign Richards, his experience would be incredible. I think he's past his injuries and would be an asset. As for a striker, I thnik with Zarate, AC, Cole we could potentially do with a poacher, but maybe a yougn one who could sit on the fringe and play in the cups. Build him up, Who? Trotta from Fulham? Looked good at Brentford is only 21 and is available on a free. Someone young, fresh, willing to learn.

When you are speaking about young strikers. what's with E. Lee? will Sam give him some time and oportunity to show himself?

9.) 09 Jul 2014
I still believe and ill get mauled for saying it that with confidence Maiga could have been that poacher, he'll be off now and its probably best that he is but he looked promising to start with.
