If it’s true that Potter only sees Fulkrug as an impact sub, surely Callum Wilson would spend his days sitting beside him.

You only have to look at who his agent is to see why this has legs.

Marshall scored again in a behind closed door game against Ipswich today. Would rather see him played than sign Wilson who's legs are gone.

It was inevitable we would go for either Wilson or DCL said it a few weeks ago, there's a reason there's not a queue of clubs wanting these 2 on a free, after 2 games we won't have any strikers as both will be injured, let's face it unless it's a loan no more decent players will be arriving we were garbage last year and now our squad is way worse, no one decent will take over with this squad after potter is sacked after 10 games if that to be honest

The thing that kills me on this one is it's already well known we desperately need a striker. If we spend a 6mo/year limping by on Fullkrug and Wilson it's going to become even more obvious we need one and suddenly we're in even more of a hole in any negotiations. Even the dullest of strikers will only be available to West Ham for twice the value. Kicking the can down the road on this one is going to cost us a fortune in the long run.
