Think we need to put out a strong 1st team against Accrington (yes I am going) to hopefully inject a bit of confidence in the team. Not sure why we seem to be playing with no urgency, looks almost like they are treating each game as a friendly or training game. Something seriously wrong, similar to when Pardew lost the dressing room!
No I am not saying SB has lost the dressing room, but something going on as team unrecognisable from last year!

it was plainly obvious in the final few games of last season that the defence wasn't good enough ' what was done, zero, except Tomkins sold WITHOUT a replacement You can be absolutely sure that had cresswell been ok Arthur would NOT have been bought, the club made noises and offers for a variety of defenders, and spent nothing just bought two freebies in Notdvielt who Is mdf and Arbeloa who's yet to kick a ball, all the fans could see it, wasted good defender money on Tore and zaza loans when we needed two new CBS and a RB, it's bad management, and poor choices sorry gerry, that's the truth, IRONMIKE.

I agree Mike that the defence was poor last season and should have been improved, but this season the defensive midfield has gone missing meaning an already poor defence has been exposed time and time again.
I also agree with you that we should have invested heavily in the defence and I think a class holding midfielder.

We could have had that kid from wolves on deadline day but we went for the cheap option in arbeloa. There was plenty of defenders around that we should have had but to sell tonks without a replacement is criminal. As We said before Mike, pay peanuts you get monkeys.

Arthur Masuaku messed up big time against wba if cresswell was playing that wouldn't of happened but he has been pretty good the rest of the games.
