Why is it Liverpool have already nailed down the manager for next season and yet we still ponder, consider, mull etc and are not expected to make a decision until during the summer. Why?

Sightly different situation O’Shea. They have a manager who announced his intention to leave months before the end of the season. Yet we have a manager who if he had any sense would have announced his departure at the end of last season. We now have the indignity of a man clinging on with his finger tips and a chairman who can’t face having to pay someone’s contract 2 months early as it may cost him!
Also, let’s face it Liverpool have a bit more pull than we do. Sad but true…….

I am glad we do not have Slot. His managerial trophy run started with the Conference Cup, and then lead him to further glory once money was injected and clubs cherry picked from Ajax. I do not think he will be a success.
As long as a new manager is announced shortly after the season finishes that would be good ownership, not before for us.
