It makes you laugh, one report saying we've agreed a fee for Nunez, another saying we've got no chance of signing him and another saying the deal is off, it would be cheaper to pay a ridiculous fee for Lingard and get Origi in as well, you would probably get them both for £20-£25m?

I've just heard it on twitter. A standard way of our board operating is that we put it out to the press with little ir no intention of following up as it unsettles the player concerned. Anyone can say "we are in talks with or we are thinking, mulling, pondering etc with no real intention". Listen to it everybody

Come on Mac3, I’ve seen you in this site for years, you never struck me as the kind of person to believe what he read and hears.
There is a lot of mischief making on sites such as Twitter to cause unrest in clubs (particularly by fans)

Stand by Moyes and the board and wait for the good times. Jan 2022 isn’t the month that makes or breaks us.
For me, I think we need to strengthen to finish 4th but with the injection of money from our new investor, I’d rather wait until summer and get the players Moyes really wants instead of panic buying and depleting summer funds available. I’m happy with top 6 or 7 this year with a view to investment in summer and champions league challenge for 2023.
It pains me to say it but even with new players this month, there’s no guarantee of champions league football anyway.

We will not finish 6 the or 7th with the players we've got up front why doesn't he give OKO-FLEX a chance because basically what your saying by playing BOWEN and YARMOLENKO up front is our youngsters ain't either good enough or ready for 1st team football but if you look at the U23s results they are beating UTD,SPURS,LEICESTER,CHELSEA so we must have good players and OKO-FLEX is banging in goals for fun I get what you are saying about save money till the summer but and a big but if they say we are bidding for these top signings then don't,just say we ain't buying anybody in this window.

Whorya. We do indeed have some great players in u23’s and although they applied themselves well in the Europa league game ( I think against Dinamo Zagreb) who aren’t really European giants, they made little impression on them. This suggests to be that they “may struggle” in premier league fixtures.
But you’re also right in giving Okoflex a chance. Would love to see him play two or three games and see how his confidence develops. Better to play a young fit okoflex than an exhausted Antonio.

Totally agree we all want what's best for west ham but Antonio hasn't played well for a long time now and i'm with other posters where you can't blame the board for things but when sully comes out with ridiculous statements like fighting for top 4 when we move to the london stadium then youve got to back that up because football fans and SUPPORTERS live off words like that we are ignorant and needy people who just want our club to do well i'm extremley passionate about west ham united and before i leave this world i'd love to see us play champions league football if leicester can do so can we as i think we are as big a club as they are so another striker is needed that's all for this window please.

Re negativity i often make positive suggestions like pushing Sopucek up ; the man himself says he was further up the pitch more often when he had his ten goal season - only receetly one mustn't forget. But Moyes etc cannot see the obvious under their noses. Now who is negative? THEM!

Ed was not aware of these incidents - I would say Wokers (which you may or may not be of course) do take things out of the context of the times and circumstances in which they happenned. I.e. it was the time of punk rock and the real heyday of the National Front in 70s England for and when Stuart was engaged most (as one naturally is as a young kid).
