So, we have apparently bid in excess of £10m for sander berge who is valued quite a bit higher. Smacks of dendoncker all over again. We will mess about trying to save a few quid and along will come wolves and offer the asking price and sign him but sully will say we tried, AGAIN. If we want this kid Gove them. the asking price.

As a norwegian I've seen him play alot. Very good player. Big, got pace and can bring the ball forward. Remember him having a trial/ training with us a couple of years ago.
I know you said unlikely, ed. But I think its likely he moves this window. Genk just signed 2 midfielders ladt week (both norwegians)

Looking at the you tube clips (and I know it’s always the very best bits) Berge is streets a head of Dendonker. He would make a great foil for Rice, as Noble plays fewer games.

Gedson is another on our radar, who has had a lot of positive coverage. Looks pretty decent and has a stupid release clause of £102m. Many scouts think he’s the real thing, so doing a loan deal for him might be good business. His mother lives in London, so that may count in our favour negotiation wise.

Imagine getting them both.
I know Seville has been heavily linked to Berge for some time now. Is that the most likely destination, ed?

{Ed002's Note - There is a lot of interest in Berge and he is expected to move this month if someone comes up with an acceptable price - but I cannot say where he is "likely" to end up.}

Wouldnt think £10m is even half of what's an acceptable price for Genk.

Agreed. Nearer £20m from what I heard. Also everton are now very interested in gedson Fernandes sounds like the Gomes saga again.
