I thought David Gold said he wanted strikers with prem experience, I think Modeste played in the prem with Blackburn but didn't score a single goal, I know he has improved a lot but I wouldn't call that prem experience?

Zara wasn't a bad striker in Italy and Spain calleri wasn't a bad striker in Argentina but EPL was too much for Them both, just saying other leagues are not the same ( for various reasons )

Modeste has had one decent season in bundasliga to be honest they should be going all out for inheancho, I think Walcott would be good for us adds much needed pace I'd stick with players from EPL this window ifor we get one of those 2 along with zabaletta we are already much better than last season.

please no to modeste, neither him nor giroud would excite me and neither are longterm signings
now the chicharito signing excites me-only a year younger but half the price
collymore had a great shout with danny ings aswell-ive wanted him since his burnley days
also the delph rumour resurfaced-at 8mill i'd be all over that
what about nolito aswell?
all these players are in the sugo mold-as in they are cheap
however each one would enhance this squad.

Cowboy Bill- chicarito is a year older than modeste, and as for his price tag, it's half because he's scored half the goals of moderate in exactly the same league, for a stronger team in that league! Stop moaning, modeste fired Koln into the europa league- that's exciting enough for me!

You conveniently missed out the fact that Modeste has played more than twice the games in the Bundesliga than Hernandez has. £35M for a player that could very easily our next Zaza as opposed to £13M for a proven PL goalscorer? Hmmm. lemme think about that one.
