HI fellas, I want to tell you the story about ANDRE GRAY, he was an obvious choice for WH wasn't he? I think you would all agree with that, this is what happened, In January, I didn't post this at the time because it was frankly embarrassing, BUT I promise you that's it's true, ok WH enquire (they expect 20 m) what is the price for Andre, 22,5 m Burnley say after consideration, Next day WH return with their offer 15m, which comprises 7m up front 2 m a season over four years, Burnley say NO, WH do not go back, end of story. NOW WH want to go back with renewed offer. PROBLEM player is in talks with Everton, unlikely he's coming to WH, crazy? IRONMIKE.

Plse arrange these words into a sentence: Its-cannot-spots-leopard-change-A

I doubt our board will ever learn, even if they had the money they still need the kick of getting one over another club and strike another bargain deal.

They enjoy playing real life Football Manager far too much, it's a game for them massaging their ego at the same time.

Iheanacho, Onyekuru or Batshuayi?
Will we get them? Not if we are supposed to pay the full asking price.

It's unlikely to happen, and I'm gutted about that, but signing the following.

Hart - loan with option to buy
Djourou- free, would prefer Smalling
Zabaleta - free, good defensively and could help Byram improve
Onyekuru - permanent
Traore - permanent
Iheanacho - permanent with buy back option for Man City
Batshuayi - loan with option to buy

Wouldn't be an overly expensive transfer window all in all, but would add a lot more pace and depth to our squad (going forward at least) . I'd actually be delighted with that window. I just don't see it happening.

Mike nothing surprises me with these clowns in charge, i'm surprised they offered £7m upfornt thought they would have offered £1m upfront and £1m for the next 14 seasons.

I'm normally quite calm and level headed when transfer windows happen, usually tell poor old Phil to chill out, but I'm beginning to get just as frustrated now. If this window carries on like this we will end up with another poor crop of panic buys. Why can't we just make a statement and go get someone like an ianaecho who we were obviously close to doing a deal on, just to show the fans you mean some business and gain a bit of trust from all those 10s of thousands who have forked out for season tickets after a disappointing season. Just give us something to get excited about rather than scratching around for free transfers and cheap loan deals.

We keep being told 'it's only June there's plenty of time to make signings' No. It's the worrying lack of plan by the board which scares me. We can't rely on Batschuyi, Giroud or Iheancho coming, there are too many anomalies that are out of control. Who does that leave for West Ham to seriously target, put in a decent offer and get done? Clubs also know we are desperate for a striker.

We should also consider the potential negative long term fallout of all this. If we try to be smarter than everyone else in the transfer window, with low offers or creative payment plans for quality prospects or decent players we will obtain a certain reputation, if it hasn't happened already.

Clubs may not bother anymore once West Ham come calling because they've had enough of our Romford Market tactics of negotiating.

Every club has money now in the Premier League, so selling clubs can afford to ask for the full asking price with no payment plan attached because a club out there will gladly pay it.

And it's not just other clubs who may not take West Ham seriously anymore, it could also affect players and their perception of West Ham.

If you offer less than asking price time and time again, what does that say about how much you value the player you are trying to get?

And here's me saying nothing he he he 😂😃 it's the same old story fellas. Look what Everton just did and compare it with how we constantly penny pinch and don't anyone tell us fans there is no money? Its becoming embarrassing every window how we try to save money on every deal or get bargains cause they are crap. All we do is identify 30 or 40 targets and place lie bids to see who will take the bait and lose out on more and more targets and it won't surprise me if onyekuru goes to Birmingham it's a mockery and a sham.

And if memory serves this is how we behaved when we last approached Toulouse for Braithwaite and Ben yedder. I still reckon Jay Rodriguez could do a great job but wba and Burnley are chasing him but Claude puel situation has thrown that in the air.

Don't think the owners have got the money to compete Phil and then they'll probably blame not having the capacity arc 66k as a reason.

I remember the words of the West Ham owners - " we are moving to the Olympic stadium because it will take West Ham to another level and help us compete in the top 6.
In my view, all that has happened is the owners have lined their pockets with extra dough on season tickets and television money and the status quo with regards to the status of our club and the calibre of our team has remained as it was. I can't help but ask myself, are the owners just trying to survive until a healthy bid comes in from a foreign investor and hoard the bounties from television money and season tickets to recoup what they have spent over the years? Hear loan deals and stage payments may well be a result of that strategy. After all, if we plan to pay stage payments for top quality players, isn't it the investor that ends up paying the balance of payments for those players?
What do I know? Perhaps I'm just too much of a sceptic.
Last year what the club spent wasn't vastly different to what they have ever spent in my view. Where is the increased investment tracking the increased revenue?

David Sullivan will come out and say we made good strong bids but it's difficult to get them over the line Everton are rumoured for this player and that player and knock me down with a feather they've just spent best part of 60 million funny that we are always trying to get players for unrealistic money I know you want to get them for as cheap as possible but come on if onyekuru goes to Birmingham then the world's gone mad mind you we will get all the rubbish on loan with view to buy well I tell u what the two D'S can do to and buy one of their vibrators and go **** themselves they should be MP's because they couldn't lie straight in bed.
