INGS, whilst most of us have a laugh about CANDH, Very Unusually I personally must endorse, his post about this player, he's 32, entering the final years of his career, WH have made him a cash offer to subsidise, any move to the championship, where now 3 clubs, are asking for his services, OK they will pay him around 30/35 k a week, and give him 2/3 year contract, he has as a fraction ( as 2 months have passed ) from July 1st 5/6 of his salary payable by WH around 5 m left for us to pay, if he gets 1:5 m in wages, from one of these clubs, he's 3-5 m light, WH offer 2-5 m as cheerio money, INGS says no he will sit on the bench, truth of the matter is this complete fool, doesn't want to play. football at all, how many people, millions I would guess, would love this opportunity, he will regret this, 99% of players love playing, he obviously does not, if he just sits, WH should leave him out of the squad altogether, let him leave at 33 at end of season, as a free agent, he might get a year at Orient if he's lucky at 5 k a week, what a silly man, grab this opportunity Danny boy

On the opposite side he may think £125k per week for another 10 months sets my family up totally. His careers coming to an end and no-one in his family will probably come close to earning this money.
He’s obviously very wealthy, but he’s earning generational money. He may even retire at the end of the season. I think he comes from the South, so heading north probably has no interest.
If I were in his position I’d sit tight and see the year out. It’s a tricky situation for the club, as the player in this case has ALL the power.

Whilst I get what you’re saying Joyful if we’re prepared to pay Ings 2.5m to see him off then pay him the 3.5m that is left on the contract …. it then frees up the squad place to get someone else . I have a gut feeling that we will get a big name in on deadline day. Ings, JWP and Aguerd will all join Zouma out the door and Soler and one more will come in. I’m hoping for Toney, would very happily take Dhuran and if needs be let it be Abraham. Brentford are 48 hours away from getting nothing for their biggest asset as he can sign a pre-contract in January or wind down his contract so they will make nothing then. For me he is the best bet (pardon the pun! )
