Apparently Wilson will sign a one year contract

We all knew this 2 weeks ago

Yes I know but it wasn’t actually confirmed was it ?

One step forward and two steps back. When will we ever learn? We just got rid of Ings and Antonio is half out the door, when Wilson slips in to keep their seat warm.

Tin, worst way Wilson got a years contract, Rodriguez, Cornet, JWP all two year contracts, they are the new vultures, Danny Ings 1/2/3/4

I’ve not got a problem with Wilson on a 1 year contract. Back up to Fulkrug along with Marshall and he hasn’t cost us a fee. Ings was £15m and was on ridiculous money….no comparison. I’d rather any money we have be spent on midfield and goalkeeper where the real problems are.

Yeah, I suppose the physio bench needed back up. ?

Even young fit players get injured ?

8.) 03 Aug 2025

Yes, but Wilson isn’t young and fit. His 33 years old injury prone body isn’t going to experience a miraculous rejuvenation by moving south to East London, where the drinking water does not have magical quality. This isn’t Lourdes, it’s West Ham United. ? And you don’t have a problem with this specimen of medical wonder being back up to a good, but ageing, injury prone striker and a young player still halfway through his development process! Each to his own, but I wish we could have been a big more ambitious with one of our billionaire board members putting their hand in their pocket and giving something back to the club like most club owners do.

I actually 100% agree with the majority but of your last post but sadly we have greedy owners who want as much out by putting as little in . On that basis if we have limited funds to play with I’d prefer we spent that on a couple of keepers and at least 2 midfielders

I agree, but not to have a problem with that situation suggests an acceptance of it, something I find unacceptable and something of which I believe the majority of WHU supporters also find difficult to accept without protest.

Whether you accept or don’t accept the situation or protest or decide not to protest the outcome will be the same ……This board will not sell their shares or club in full until they want to do so. I want new owners as much as you do Tinlegs and actually think we’re closer to getting our wish than we think, Kretinskys bored and committed to the PO and Sullivan is getting older. You and I are likely to disagree on a lot of things on here and that’s fine because we are different people but I’m sure we can agree we both love the club.

Agreed, but it doesn’t mean we just silently surrender to the abominable behaviour of the board.

Wilson is a good buy for the money. The 'rumoured' wage is £10k per week then appearance/goal money. At £10k per week, it is a no brainer.

You said it!

If we are stupid enough to pay a washed up INGS £140, 000 a week then can I say 1-0 to INGS but he couldn't trap a bag of cement or score many he scored 4 goals in 2-3 years then he's cost us a tad over £5million now that's great business Mr Sullivan, all I can say is somebody is 100% getting backhanders at west ham, call me paranoid but that's my opinion get the POISON DWARF out of our club.COYI⚒️⚒️⚒️
