hi fellas, I Don't Know what is being read on twitter pages? The changed offer was made this morning, and at 4 pm NO deal has yet happened? PERSONALLY I think a deal could happen tomorrow, let's hope so anyway THERE is another problem that could rear its head, that being the number of home grown players that make up the squad It's something WH are aware of And the reason why FONTE or Ayew can go, BUT IF WH sell Obiang there might be a RIOT. Yes, reckon there will be a riot soon, can easily see Kouyate, Antonio, Lanzini going, along with the Disposables, Fonte, Ayew.

The more money Sporting want up-front, the more likely.

1st time poster, longtime reader

1stly-if they can get 15-20mill for obiang take it-i don't get why a lot of fans cream there pants over him, average at best!
2ndly-fonte and ayew oh please if we could recoup 20mill for that pair then i'd be ecstatic
3rdly-whats changed from last year? other than we have a goalscorer now? still no energy in the middle of the park, and little pace uptop
4thly-how can we have more defenders on the coaching staff than anything else and still be useless at the back?

my fix. get shot of the players I mentioned above plus ginge, bring in any1 of these portugeuses midfielders from porto, sporting or the barcelona guy we are being linked with or my preference-tousart from lyon!
get a new centre back-either hoedt, smalling, chambers, schar or nastasic would be my choices!
use the obiang cash to bring in ward prowse to play alongside lanzini!
sign a right back-karsdrop from feyenord is a nice looking prospect
move zabeleta to cm
sign demari gray to provide pace up top

sounds alot, but obiang sale would buy ward prowse.
we have all this moiney to bid on carvalho, but tousart would be half the price, so we could use the other half to buy a centre half
gray has a buy out clause of 12mill
karsdrop or another good right back would be achievable for 10mill.

I watched the under 21s Tuesday. Haksaponovic faded badly contrary to the articles I have read praising his credentials. Samuelson and Holland in particular may be worth a look as "homegrown" options. If they count? Maybe they will get some time in our record signings absence. My opinion is our team needs players who can retain possession under pressure in the opposition half Samuelson and Holland have that. I hope we see them on Wednesday with sakho. Thanks for the information ironmike I hope the deal is closed tomorrow also.

Have people lost their minds following one bad game against likely premiership title winners man utd?! I thought we played pretty well yesterday all things considered. Why on earth would we sell Obiang, and for 15million?! You must be stupid if you think that is a good deal, let's be grateful our owners are not as stupid as to sell a player based on one game. Ayew I agree has been consistently average but Obiang is a player along with Lanzini and Antonio that we shpuld be building a team around!

I tell you why codman regarding obiang because we are sick to death of mark noble being picked every week when he's better than him he's been playing with an injury and if it wasnt for obiang last year we would have been dragged into a dogfight at tha bottom I know he was out for the last few games and ward-prowse do me a favour he couldn't get a start for England under 21 we have to aim higher than him its about improving the squad and he wouldn't the names we've been linked to CARVALHO, GOMES and the boy from PSG the pole are different gear and you like southampton rate him highly and would ask silly money he's not what we need we've got players like him. spot on wh4ever obiang must stay noble should be sold the only wayid sell pedro is after nobles gone and we replace obiang with a better player and that will cost 25-30 mill and ward-prowse ain't the answer.

well we differ in opinions there, I didn't see what all the fuss was about regarding obiang last season if i'm honest, for me he doesn't win areal battles, lacks energy and has no pace, his only is his passing, but then again in this team that makes no difference because whoever he passes to losses the ball anyway-unless its lanzini.

regarding wrd prowse, he could play the 10 role for us and push lanzini wider like he played during payets 1st season, or gives us an option to play with a midfield 3 with him spraying balls about.
he would just give us someone else other than lanzini that can play a killer ball

but I would agree noble is shot now, for me him and obiang are not what we need in midfield, now if we can get this pole on loan AND add one of these portugeuse midfielders then we can have an immense midfield when you factor in rice aswell-i would rather the young lad get game time over noble and obiang.

I completely disagree. Anyone who has followed Obiang before he came to West Ham know how highly regarded he is and what quality he can produce. A lot of his work goes unseen off the ball but put in a proper midfield unit that works well together his full potential can be unleashed.

I wouldn't sell Noble but wouldn't start him either. He can be useful off the bench and knows the importance of the games that matter to hammers fans so can hype up the foreign boys who don't know.

Diggidydee noble isn't a player that would make an impact off the bench players coming off the bench need pace against spent defenders or tired defenders we must sell him now he's at an age where we could get decent money I know that sounds a bit contradictory but you know what I mean in the current market a team like Brighton, Burnley, palace, etc, etc would pay 8-10 mill in my opinion.
