Makes me laugh how we focus on one particular player which then falls through and then we scramble around looking for the next easiest option

We badly need defender, a midfielder and possibly a keeper

Paqueta gone and now we are linked Angel Gomes (good shout if we can get him) or nicola zalewski. My issue is that these should have been deals already lined up if and when paqueta left. Why are we scrambling around now . Typical Sullivan way of doing business to leave it to the last minute and panic and then blame the manager

Gomes would be a good signing. Left footed and was in England squad last year. He’s a good age as well.
