Please tell me that the Solanke rumour is just poor journalism! He is shocking and in the Hugill mould.

1.) 08 Aug 2023 18:17:41
Another little gem for ya, whilst we faff about chasing Moyes has been defender from Man Utd, Nottingham Forest are now chasing the signature of YOUSSOUF FOFANA.

2.) 08 Aug 2023 19:37:41
If FOREST get FOFANA then I think it could be another case of IF ONLY, when we were apparently close to signing KANTE and he joined LEICESTER instead look how he turned out, I actually rate FOFANA higher than ALVAREZ to be honest but why we ain't all over him rather than if true MCTOMINAY they are poles apart imo, MCTOMINAY isn't on the same level as FOFANA and without trying to sound anti Scottish i think it's got something to do with MOYES liking MCTOMINAY but let's see what actually comes of this window.⚒⚒⚒

3.) 08 Aug 2023 20:24:46
Is there any truth in the apparent interest in Brazilian striker from FLAMENGO'S PEDRO GUILHERME thanks Ed⚒⚒⚒

4.) 08 Aug 2023 21:56:32
Sorry but Moyes needs to go now before he causes us some serious issues, Maguire is a shocking buy, and mctominay isn’t much better. He should not be spending the money have, new gaffer new signings.

5.) 09 Aug 2023 09:07:54
If you get the box to box Rambo-type McTominay who busts a gut for Scotland, you’ll be getting a very good player, particular if Alvarez behind him.

6.) 10 Aug 2023 07:56:20
Re Yunus, we'll more likely end up with my mum's mate Eunice - who could btw manage us better.

7.) 10 Aug 2023 08:06:49
26 year old "prospect" but we need someone not on their Zimmer frame quite yet. Put another bid in.

19 Jan 2017 07:58:24
12 m for Fonte wouldn't by Defoe as he had no sell on value get real we won't pay 12 m for 32 year old. Here we are interested in Grey from Burnley good prospect.

Corbyhammer

1.) 19 Jan 2017 13:17:12
Surely can't be 12 mil.

2.) 20 Jan 2017 09:32:29
Reports on ssn showing 8

22 Aug 2016 11:53:32
Can anyone tell me what's happening with Sakho? . If he is staying he has to be a better option than Valencia. Yesterday highlighted the need for a good quick striker.

Corbyhammer

{Ed002's Note - He won't leave without a replacement being found.}

1.) 22 Aug 2016 12:26:27
NOTHING at oresent he's still not fit. So he can't play and it's doubtful he will be fit enough to shift this window, I would not be totally suprised because of this, IF he is re inter-grated into the squad , WH lost the chance to be rid of Valencia, this window, he will probably be outed January, IRONMIKE.

2.) 22 Aug 2016 12:46:07
Thanks Mike would be good to see Velencia moved out and new blood in.

3.) 22 Aug 2016 13:17:22
calleri looked class yesterday, valencia's can't even play a simple pass balls always stuck in his feet and I've never seen anybody trip over the ball as much as him, agree we won't get rid of him but who'd want him how he's scored so many international goals is astounding, calleri has to be our main striker at this time he looks very good. COYI.

4.) 22 Aug 2016 13:52:54
We all seem to have short memories. I agree he's been poor so far since coming back from injury, but his first season he was great and talk of big money transfer to Chelsea and we all wanted him to stay. Just playing devils advocate but if he got his confidence back and Sakho got fit and was also the player from 2 seasons back I think it would be like 2 new signings. not saying that will happen but stranger things have happened!

5.) 22 Aug 2016 15:17:42
I'd let them both go they've had 2 seasons each, valencia is actually getting worse I think poor positioning, ball control no strength , think it's time we cut our losses and moved on with him and I don't want sahko back in team his ego is big enough imagine how bad he will be if we let him back.

6.) 22 Aug 2016 18:07:39
totally agree robbo and my brothers a season t/ holder at chelsea and knows staff that work their they were never interested in valencia, and the sakho thing is refuses to go on pre season tour and can't get himself fit he should never put the shirt on again that's my opinion, seems since playing at the london stadium ZAZA has done a u turn and wants to come now is it true MIKE?

7.) 22 Aug 2016 20:19:36
YES he would come, JUVE want to sell outside of Italy, but the Wolfsburg deal went sour so IF a deal could be done with WH, they would take it I think they won't take less than 28m euros, probably with some add ons, WH want To loan TRY and BUY if you like firs to see what's he's like in the premier, TO ME Zaza would be fine in the premier he is a quality player, WH are looking short term so BONY is favourite, however IF JUVE agree to a loan to buy, don't be shocked IF we take both of them AS Bony will only be there for a short time IF his china deal comes to fruition IRONMIKE.

8.) 22 Aug 2016 20:44:19
I like zaza I think his work ethic and physicality are right for the PL don't think he will have to many problems adapting he can play up top on his own and will chase everything.

21 Jun 2016 20:23:03
Any more interest around Callum Wilson would be a good buy, good strong player.

Corbyhammer

1.) 21 Jun 2016 20:30:19
There doesn't seem to be any further interest from WH at oresent, IRONMIKE.

2.) 22 Jun 2016 08:09:28
Perisic looked really good last night, class act. Why don't we go for him!

3.) 22 Jun 2016 09:31:16
I think we need to have a quick sort of round up cause so many names being linked. Anyone got anything they wish to contribute! Apparently Lacazette bid dead and buried and Batshuyi wants Champs League football. Wolfsburg have apparently bid 25m euro for Zaza. Braithwaite Apparently in talks with us? Carlos Bacca is apparently waiting to find out what's happening with AC Milan takeover. Not heard anymore on Fekir, Ben Yedder or Slimani but Leicester apparently very interested in Slimani. Wissam Ben Yedder at Toulouse scored 17 times with a team that finished 17th? Gregory van der Wiel is set to disappoint his Premier
League suitors by joining Turkish giants Fenerbahce.

{Ed002's Note - The situation with Lacazette remains the same - it was never going to be easy dealing with Lyon who want more for a sale to an English side than elsewhere - the CL is what the player wants.

Michy Batshuayi has not been subject to an o0ffer from West Ham and whilst Marseille has spoken to three sides about the player one of those has stepped back. The reality is he will move this summer and I don't expect it will be to West Ham as it stands right now.

I would not rule out Bacca although the player says he is happy with Milan but he wants changes - and they would be happy to sell as they don't want players demanding changes. His agent has made a further unsolicited approach to West Ham and another English side but given his age and price it would be a tough call to make.

Fekir is another tough call given the past season was lost to injury, his desire to play for another side - and how would WHU fit him in to the side.

Juventus will let him leave in the summer for anyone matching their asking price - which is very high, unless they lose Morata when they will look to hold on to Zaza. It looks likely that Juventus will lose Morata and are not interested in the Real Madrid proposal to send him back to Turin. There is interest from WHU but for now, nothing.

Braithwaite remains a very good option for WHU.

Interest from WHU in Slimani is on the back burner right now.

I would certainly strike Ben Yedder off your list Phil - apart from their being no WHU interest his future is pretty much mapped out.

Gregory van der Wiel wants Champions League Football and after not being able to agree terms with Roma or Monaco may need to take up the option of the money but no European football at Galatasaray. There was no WHU interest.}

4.) 22 Jun 2016 11:01:31
Thanks for your update ED0002. Of all the strikers we've been linked with (and there are quite a few) who can you REALLY see ending up at West Ham.

{Ed002's Note - The problem is that WHU has not been making multiple offers per day on players - it really doesn't work like that and it would be chaotic if it did. I cannot say who will actually sign, I can tell you where there is interest when I know it. Braithwaite would be a good buy and it can happen. After that, I suspect it may take a while before anything is clear.}

11 Jun 2016 14:33:37
What's happened to our interest in Slimani? He would be so good for our style of play. any news Mike.

Corbyhammer

1.) 11 Jun 2016 20:15:09
Hey Corbyhammer is there a local Hammers support club in Northants? Just moved from Beds to Desborough.

2.) 11 Jun 2016 22:20:40
Booshmoon not that I know of but there are one or two hammers around. do you go down to the games. I've got my ticket for the juve game.

3.) 11 Jun 2016 22:54:34
I was an ST holder up to end this season but not going next season too many commitments! But yes got Juve ticket!

4.) 12 Jun 2016 00:49:41
Maybe get together and find a pub during the new season to watch the hammers.

5.) 12 Jun 2016 07:56:30
Yer your not far away from me. my daughter comes with me all the time we'll get something planned.

6.) 12 Jun 2016 09:52:50
Nice one will be good to meet some fellow Hammers.

We were playing a team better than us and every player gave a shift tonight. Could have done without the second goal but can’t wait for next week, we are going to have too raise the roof next week. Will be good to see Bowen run at these missed him tonight. Keep the faith COYI

Corbyhammer

1.) 12 Apr 2024 09:03:34
Totally agree CORBY and you would think that MOYES might learn something from tha performance, but I'll wager a fair amount of money he doesn't.

2.) 12 Apr 2024 09:31:04
Fabianski had one of his best games for us and made 4 or 5 world class saves so this could easily have been 5 or 6 and leverkusen were only in 3rd gear

3.) 12 Apr 2024 09:42:55
Will Bowen be fit by then? I doubt it somehow. Both Paqueta and Emmerson will be missed, and given our record sans Paqueta I think we’ll be struggling come next Thursday. Still, football is a strange game so who knows? DD can’t just sit back this time as we need goals. Maybe this outing will see Antonio and Ings both starting? Don’t hold your breath.

4.) 12 Apr 2024 10:30:16
I reckon knowing MoYES he will start with exactly the same tactics and try and pinch a goal or two and limit damage. I'm hoping we have a real go at them, and if we lose 5 or 6 then so be it, but at least have a go. And I reckon you can bully these into mistakes. On a side note, Boniface is the most ideal replacement for Antonio that i've seen, but younger LOL

5.) 12 Apr 2024 11:47:18
I thought something similar re Boniface, but I fear his next move will probably be to somewhere like Bayern or Real Madrid.

6.) 12 Apr 2024 14:00:42
I suspect Bowen will return for next Thursday. Ideally I'd like to see us go all out attack . But know under this manager it's about as likely as anyone on here winning the lottery jackpot on Saturday night. January has well and truly rodgered us up the wrong un .

7.) 12 Apr 2024 21:09:41
Hammer, a Leopard doesn’t change his spots and no he will play his boring defensive counter tactics as I he always, anybody that thinks otherwise is disillusioned!

Wow if only people who run are great club could read this, well done Oshee, great written piece we are all in agreement.

Corbyhammer

1.) 02 Apr 2024 07:56:19
And true to form, Ange Postecoglu has praised the Job David Moyes has done at West Ham just as OSHEE said "and our voices and thoughts will be drowned out. The machine driven by mainstream media and the "old guard" club will see to it that we are labelled as moaners, deluded, and neurotic simpletons who cannot possibly understand the complexities of the beautiful game. How could simple working-class folk possibly be expected to understand the nuance of the beautiful game over a manager that seemingly knows all" and right on cue, a rival manager comes out and gives him his backing. Could this be possibly other managers wwanting Moyes to stay, because they know fine well with another manager we would be a better team?

2.) 02 Apr 2024 11:19:52
It seems there might be an honest sports journalist in Lewis Jones from Sky Sports. He is of the opinion that the Hammers’ front line is purring at the moment, and were it not for the out-dated tactics of David Moyes, WHU would be a Premiership force to be reckoned with. With Moyes in charge, he predicts a 2-4 defeat against Spurs.

3.) 03 Apr 2024 14:07:03
I know nothing of ARNE SLOT, but, As Ten Haag has shown, he may be good in Holland but the premier league is a big jump up in class. But hey, anything is better than MOYES. Personally I'd like to see a coach with Premier League experience, but not TEN HAAG lol. ANother thing that really worries me is if he stays. I can see half the Man United squad joining us!

30 Mar 2024 16:00:57
I can see why he took antonio off with the games coming up but he should not have disrupted the midfield who were on top. Ings should have been a like for like replacement. Two sections disrupted we went to pieces. Taxi anyone!

Watch the hammers is such a hard watch these days. Villa were there to be beaten today so what do we do just sit back and try to hit them on the break. Why can’t we just have a go at teams with the talent we have. DM has done well to give us 3 good years but not the manager to take us to the next level. Thanks for the good days but currently you are boring the life out of us, change or please walk away at the end of the season.

This has been coming for weeks. Poor transfer window poor performances against Bournemouth Sheffield Utd and Utd. They are a disgrace to the badge on that performance and it is only halftime.

Would be a great signing for us fingers cross that London and our salary can persuade him.

Syd can’t disagree with you that Billy played like us supporters wanted to see. Over the years it is difficult to say who was the best. Sir trev for me was excellent, Jonny sissons was a personal favourite growing up. But so glad that BB is getting this honour. I think all us hammers will have a personal favourite but all will agree long over due this accolade for Bonzo.

This is a gutless performance from them all. Johnson has had a shocker from the first 30 seconds. Paquata is a liability and Moyes has to go or we are down.

Whilst on a 6 month contract he had a lot to prove and prove he did. Give him a three year contact he will loose that focus so thanks for the memories but time to move on from this. Greed seems to be his demands and surely he is a wealthy young man already and should think about enjoying his last few years as a professional.
