Two signings, both keepers. Trott must feel loved.

Allows him to go out on loan, be first choice, and play 40 odd games which I think at the moment would be absolutely the best thing for him. I hope thought that Pelle has sat him down and explained this all to him - he's one for the future but needs the game time now which we can't offer.

Completely agree TK, in fact i think the short deals given to both of these new keepers (both 33yrs old) gives confidence that MP and WHU have HUGE belief in Trott.
Let's be honest he has NEVER played a competitive pro match, and he has ZERO chance of match time behind Fabianski next season baring injury, and cup games are not enough for him to develop. He needs a season playing regular games, and THEN come in as no.2 to Fabianski.
It has been very well documented that they want Trott to get first team experience, or at least competing for a 1st team place, before throwing him into the deep end. I am sure he has been told this also.

We will need a 3rd choice keeper. What if Fab or Roberto get injured, who sits on the bench if Trott has been loaned out.
I believe that the combined weekly wage for BOTH the new signings is 20k a week lower than the 50k a week that Adrian was on.

Perhaps SULLY thinks there's going to be a rule change and you can put 2 goalies in at the same time that's the only reason we are signing all these keepers.
