Were coming to the time when things maybe become clearer who will be going and who will be staying.

Loads of speculation already incoming but for me personally I would love to know the outs before we can speculate.

I hope i'm totally wrong on one subject but I have a gut wrenching feeling that young Declan will play a starting part in England Nations Semi Final and possible final and excel, the pundits are already talking him up after every game I can't see his career stalling and he will only get more experienced and better

Im wondering if it will be this window the offers start coming in mainly from Man C with Ferdanino winding down as his contract is up in 2020.

Maybe a little to early for such a huge bid as some may see he is untested over time, but I think we can all see this lad is going to be up there with the best

Its such a tricky one as although all of us would love him to stay I feel reality its only a matter of time, let's hope that's still a couple of years away at least,

Playing Devils Advocate how much would turn the heads of the DGS if a bid came in for Rice. Basically would they consider £70m?

5-6 year contract
20 years old
England International (will be a regular)
Leader in the making

£80m is the absolute minimum to even begin talks if you ask me. If we do not get it this window then we CERTAINLY will get it come the next one, so why would we accept any less now.

Personally, i do not think Dec wants to go this summer, and that he believes at least one more season at WHU would be good for him. He will only go if guaranteed a fair amount of playing time in a TOP team and WHU got a fair some of money. He is a stand up lad and i think he will want WHU to get paid well were he to leave, as shown by signing a 6 year contract.

I feel he wants to stay for at least one more year. However, agents, other influences and a guarantee of European football could be problematic for WHU.

His value will only go up from here on, especially once the world tunes in to the Nations tournament.

If we invest and upgrade the squad to an extent that European football becomes an increasing possibility, that would help.

MP will have a huge part to play in Rice’s short term future, but I wonder how big an offer would need to be to get Sully salivating.

Its a tough call if a massive bid comes in not just for DGS but for Declan himself

Unfortunately he will eventually go as I can not see for the life of me us ever getting in the CL and it will be an absolute push to finish top 7 especially with Wolves now posturing and I suspect Leicester will be pushing as well

Its so hard for any team to push ahead, who would be a owner in the Prem outside the main 6 teams, yes you get a massive amount of money but you also expected to invest a massive amount of money to show to the fans your are trying to move forward, but in reality unless your willing to spend absolute hundreds of millions and keep an eye on the Fair Play rules its a dead league.

I have said this so many times on here before that the Premier League really need to introduce a different format where as the so called middle of the road teams who will not be fighting relegation nor a European spot have some kind of incentive towards the latter part of the season.

I have mentioned before maybe having a play off of 4th 5th 6th 7th with the winners going into the CL and the losers into Europa, at least a 7th place side would have a chance of CL football, it would crank things up.
