Seen we may be offering Carroll a low basic pay as you play contract - I'm assuming low basic means he'll be on minimum wage then? He'll play 3 games a season, and sit on the medical table for 30k a week (low basic, hilarious)

What is going through the minds of the hierarchy at West Ham - get rid.

I was led to believe it was a pay as you play contract. My understanding is that this means if he doesn’t play he gets sod all. From what I picked up bi the media this is to ensure that Andy Carroll stays fit and makes himself available. I think there may be suspicions that when he says he’s injured he may be “over egging” the severity. I just want him gone. End of.

I posted this 6 months ago he put his hsr on the market what’s the point in having someone who can barely play 10 games a season. By the time he is march fit he picks up a training ground injury. never on the pitch he doesn’t take of himself.

COYI there are no pay as you play contracts in the Premier League and he won’t get one either. You have to pay a basic salary so I’m guessing just newspaper rubbish - or is that I’m hoping.

Worrying part with Carroll is, he has just bought Rod Stewart’s ex place in Epping, so he’s planning to stay down South?

He could play for free for all I care, the point is he's a waste of a squad place - A place better utilised by signing a player who's capable of playing more than a game or two before succumbing to yet another long term injury.
