Sturrridge is out of contract. We could worse than get him on a pay as you play and goal bonus contract.

Mark, well he could be a worth a punt at the right deal, his injury history is well documented, no idea of his fitness status at present, but yes he’s a decent player when he’s fit, but “when” being the operative word, we already have more than our share of our players sidelined?

Always appreciated his talent, but the combination of a poor injury record and documented arrogance make him a no for me.

We replace Carroll with Sturridge? Can't deny we have previous for that sort of signing.

I'd be all for him if it was a pay as you play heavily weighted on bonuses would be being win but can't see either party going for it.

Great player when fit, but I would rather take a punt on a youngster who may go up in value as a result.
Who knows, they could become the next Rashford! Remember, Rashford was behind Ashley Fletcher at Man Utd and only got his chance because Fletcher was injured. Amazing what that chance did for him.

I think we can’t afford to ‘take a punt’, for a couple of years we need players who can do the business straightaway. Sturrridge comes with injury risks, but if the contract was right it’d work for both parties.
