I see Karen Brady mouthing off about spurs calling them bargain basement hunters, I think she's jealous we strengthened again yesterday with serge aurier and Fernando llorente and gomes wanted to join spurs instead of bottom of the league west ham. Mrs. Brady when your club gets into the champions league it's easier to sign top players you should try it one day. Has for bargain hunters didn't she get the Daley Thompson stadium for free from the taxpayers due to her being in government beep beep beep.

Grow up Raver

Whats has the Stadium got to do with it, sounds like the green eyed monster has ventured into you thoughts

If you want to blame anyone blame who ever negotiated on behalf of the council not WH,

Enjoy the Champions League, and make the most of it you won't be there for a long while after this season.

Raver the reports from Spain state that Gomes wanted to join us rather than Spurs. But you are right you have added well to your squad. However be wary of the curse of the new stadium. You could well find yourself suffering like we did last year as it's a huge adjustment playing in s new stadium even if yours is in the same place. As for getting it for free I can't think of any club that would turn it down. After all, you tried hard enough to get it. As for bargain hunters yes we probably are but then again we didn't waste £85 million on players like Spurs did when they sold Bale.
We will probably never be at the same level you are. Then again you will always only ever be in the shadow of Arsenal so it's all relative.

Fully agree with you fluke, we will struggle at the new stadium and definitely wasted the bale money, I agree about having a stadium for free no club would turn it down. I also think your owners have mugged you fans off by promising top players etc and then going cheap. I've said for a few years west ham are only a decent owner from being a powerhouse in the league.

You are absolutely right Raver, we have been sold lie after lie. We have been completely mugged off. Personally I would have preferred to stay at Upton Park and maybe had a cup run every few years and the odd Europa run. It may lack ambition but I liked the size of club we were. Its what I was brought up with. i'm struggling with what we are now. This isn't the West Ham I know. To be honest we are used to tight owners but we knew they were tight, they told us we were tight and had no money to spend. These clowns promise the world and deliver nothing close to it. Some fans won't like it but maybe we should look across North London and take a few lessons from yourselves in how to run a football club.
