I think maybe the Ndong bid was made to put pressure on Sporting but if we are serious about signing him why can't we offer Snodgrass as part of the deal that way we might have enough budget left to get Carvalho as well, then these two can replace Noble and Fernandes.

Are we really after CARVALHO or is it a ploy to make it look like we've really tried to sign a top class player or am I paranoid but I can smell a rat I'm really not paranoid no I'm not honestly. lol.

Didn't this happen last year? Dangled a top player on front of us all summer long and end up 'doinh everything we could and losing out on him' and then bring In terrible players.

Spot on Dave my thoughts exactly mate does seem similar to the BACCA debacle another few days and it'll be right up there I'd be astonished if CARVALHO is a West Ham playerjust pure ignorance trying to get a TOP CLASS player for what they value him at but sorry to tell you both D's you ain't in the driving seat sporting are he's still their player and until you stump up what he's worth we ain't getting him I really believe they aren't 100% interested in CARVALHO I think they are waiting for another club to come in with the right money but as of yet they are fuc--d because no one has PAULINHIO just signed for Barcelona for close to 40 mill he's nearly 30 and CARVALHO is 25 and a better player.

Totally agree. I think this is just dgs saying we've tried to be ambitious but it isn't our fault. Well if they don't want to go for top class players that's fine. but don't say they are and then refuse to mat h the asking price.
