It's obvious that Atletico Madrid want Diego Costa, but he wouldn't be able to play for them until January because of their transfer ban, so why don't West Ham say to Atletico for them to still get Costa and West Ham take him on loan from Atletico until January that way the player is still playing at the highest level keeping himself fit and scoring goals for us so when January comes we're in a good position in the league, happy days,

If we could get him for 6months and still have Hernandez that'll be amazing and then in January we can look and see if Carroll and sakho are fit to determine if we need to replace Costa when he goes to help Hernandez.

I thought Atletico could get him and loan him out as long as they didn't register him as a player but apparently not so that's the end of that idea anyway let's just concentrate on getting Hernandez for now.

I think instead of going after stupid targets like last year its good to see us go for players that are achievable for us like gray/ aunoutovic. Of course Hernandez wold be an amazing signing. Just camt wait all summer for him only for him to choose another club. I think we are doing it right. realistic targets that slowly improve us is the way to go rather than trying to sign top class players. Its a marathon not a sprint.
