There was a lot of talk about Trippier joining us a few years back before he became a regular first team spud I seem to remember he being seen in a few hostelleries with a few of our lads.

Trippier would be a great addition for us, but yes unfortunately with the hostile feeling between the clubs that won’t happen! I am obviously not privy to all the reasons for the bad blood between us, apart from being rival capital clubs, but am aware that Levy tried to block us from getting the London Stadium but so did others at the time!

Yeah, Levy hates us for some reason. The Adebayor stuff probably didn't help either.
