I'm always a bit suss about players from the SPL who shine in a league about equivalent to League One. Besides, a figure of £25M is being banded about. That's Ben Chillwell money and I know who I'd rather we spend that kind of cash on.

True. But established players like chillwell go to man city. I think Tierney would be decent. Would be someone I'd get in. Got to be better than what we have surely.

Your point is valid but I'm still struggling in all honesty.

Didn't we sign a "destined for great things" Scottish left back in the shape of Stephen Hendrie? That worked out really well for us. Not! He's part of my reluctance to sign Scottish players - especially ones being talked up by their club.

For every Andrew Robertson (who we sniffed around but didn't go for) There's a Stephen Kingsley. £25M is a lot to splash to find out we've bought the latter rather than the former.

I'd rather we looked at someone like Jamal Lewis who I think can easily make the step up and at around £4m looks a bargain.

Yea get that mate. Spl is a dodgey league. There are some absolute gems in the lower leagues at a fraction of the price. We just need to find them lol.

He plays for Celtic, not Hamilton like Hendrie who was a prospect. He's wanted by Arsenal and Man Utd, so won't be coming to us.
