He's been hinting for a while about going back to Italy. I'd rather we keep him, but if he goes I really don't want us to be looking at McCarthy or Medel as replacements. Someone posted on another thread that McCarthy apparently walks in to our side. Yea, right. Bloke's not played for a year and even if he IS now fit he's nowhere near an Everton squad that's below us in the league, why would we want him? And Medel. Oh dear, please God no.

Just because a player isn’t in a squad doesn’t make him a bad player. Just that the manager doesn’t fancy him for whatever reason. That’s not to say I want to sign the guy, I honestly don’t know much about him, but he can’t be judged for not getting into a side that is below us (at the moment) .

it was me that said he walks in your team Billy and I stand by that comment mate only reason he isn't in the Everton team right now is the form of gana gueye and Gomes, he's been out a year but been training for ages and put some great performances in the u23s last few weeks, he's a massive upgrade on noble, McCarthy and rice would be a great cm partnership in my opinion.

As OBIANG replacement has to be DRINKWATER the guy was a massive reason LEICESTER won the title he's a very tidy footballer and the legs in midfield we need to play alongside RICE I think they'd gel together and would be a fantastic midfield duo . COYI.
